This bag was commissioned by Kathleen Engel, a Professor of Law at Suffolk University Law School. It is made almost entirely out of recovered banner material.

This bag was commissioned by Desiree, it features numerous interior pockets for organizing notebooks and other daily necessities.

Misty took third place, and won a Blick’s Bag!


The race was a lot of fun, hats off to the hosts! Cleveland’s bike scene has been steadily growing stronger over the past few years, thanks to the dedication of the Pedal Republik of Cleveland and the local bike messenger community. You guys rock!

This was the first bag I designed. I had big help from Dan Mckewen at Seagull Bags in assembling it. The idea was to make a more ergonomic messenger bag, so instead of a bag conforming to the shape of the cargo, the bag could expand, keeping the side that touches your back flat.

This is the first really successful bag I made that wasn’t based on the open source pentagram pattern that a few bagmakers also started off with. I showed this bag for my final in 4th year, fall semester Fibers.
